WROXHAM SOCIAL CLUB
September, first month of Autumn, what happened to Summer. Not to worry, we might get an Indian Summer. We made good use of the fine days with Bowls and now that season is over, we are looking to get a good team together for next year. Any budding players out there would like to join us, that would be great. If you would like to give it a try, no experience needed, you would be most welcome.
Our September programme includes a Book Sale and Coffee Morning on Saturday 9th September commencing at 10.30am. Hundreds of books of every genre at only £1 for 5 of any kind. Paperback or hardback, fact or fiction we have something to suit all tastes. Please drop in any time.
We also have 2 sessions of Bingo this month, 2nd and 23rd, and a Quiz and Chips evening which of course as usual is open to all. If you would like to join us on Saturday 16th September that would be lovely, please contact the Secretary Linda (DETAILS BELOW) to book your place and give her your order for Fish and Chips. You do not need to make up a team of four, as we can put you with other pairs or singles. It is a social occasion after all. You may make a new friend. Saturday 30th September is also a Quiz Night with a Takeaway option, you order on the evening. No need to book for this, just turn up at 7pm.
The Snooker team are very much looking forward to the new season, but tables are available to be played either evenings or Wednesday afternoon. Give Linda a call to book. Obviously, you would need to become a member to play after a short period. Table Tennis also available for play.
